It is important to us as mothers to set good examples for our children -- to teach them how important it is to show compassion, kindness and charity. And it is a priority for us as citizens to nurture and strengthen our bonds with our community.

PAMG's 2010 Relay for Life Efforts...

It may be only March, spring just arriving, but we are gearing up for this year's Relay for Life..

This year's Relay for Life is scheduled for Friday July 23rd thru Saturday, July 24th at Parma's Tri-C campus. This year's theme is "Celebrating the Holidays" and we have chosen to highlight St. Patrick's Day at our tent this year.

Our first fundraiser will be Wednesday, March 17th at Max & Erma's on Engle Rd. in Middleburg Hts. Lunch, dinner and take-out orders are eligible. Please be sure to bring the flyer with you so that the proceeds will go to our RFL fundraising.

We will also be participating in the Parma Animal Shelter's 6th Annual "Flea Market of Collectibles & Fine Things" on Saturday, April 10th at the Ridgewood United Methodist Church. We will be selling our famous ribbon sugar cookies, peanut butter dog treats, and, new this year, handmade hair ribbons, ribbon pins, friendship bracelets, hand-knit scarves and dish cloths all with cancer awareness themes.

Last year we held a hugely successful Friendly's Fun-Raising Night in early May. We're doing it again! Wednesday, May 5th from 5PM to 8PM. Come on down to 6400 York Rd. and show your support, eat some ice cream and check out our raffle baskets.

And our biggest endeavour this year will be our Team Garage Sale scheduled for June 3rd, 4th and 5th from 9AM to 5PM all three days. Lots of household items including children's clothes and toys will be on sale as well as cookies and kool-aid and some cancer awareness items.
