We all know that raising our children is a fulfilling yet around-the-clock job -- whether we stay at home with them or if we are working mothers. We also know how important it is to reach out and make connections and friendships with other moms who understand. The Parma Area Mothers’ Group provides many opportunities to make these connections...

Moms Night Off (MNO) An activity geared to get all moms out of the house one night a month. Activities range from putt-putt and bowling to in-home massages and Wii nights.

Book Club Mutually agreed upon books are read and discussed -- both in person and via the online forum. Themed discussions and coordinated activities are an added bonus.

Moms Craft Night
One night a month, crafty moms get together and work on their projects or try something new. Knitting, scrapping, stamping, pottery, etc. -- just about everything is touched upon.

HOOT (Husbands Out of Town) For those moms whose husbands work odd shifts, out of town, serve our communities as policemen and firemen, etc.-- a once a month get together to help through the lonely times. Moms and kids meet for dinner or have a cookout or potluck -- a great way to realize that there are others dealing with similar issues.

Secret Sister Twice a year participants treat each other to a little TLC; it's always nice to get up and find a basket of goodies tucked in the door -- or a beautiful handmade card waiting in the mailbox. Generally done once in the Spring and once around Holiday time.

Biggest Losers Moms supporting each other in their weight loss and fitness goals.

Parties Two parties a year are specifically geared toward moms -- the End of the Year Banquet in June, and the Holiday Party in December.

Bulletin Board Forum A secure, members only bulletin board that covers a variety of topics from PAMG business to potty training tips to home business opportunities. It is a great place to feel connected to group and find support and answers.
